Actually come next January 18th it will be 48. I kind of round it up to 50 for impact. Damn near half a century though. It began with my little sister being punched out by her biker husband... and everyone has passed but I'm still here. I punched a corrections officer...who honestly had it coming... and was then summarily beaten down by twelve officers on a stopped service elevator. That event put me 3 months in the hospital unable even to stand but even worse the officers covered themselves by putting twelve counts of assault on staff on me and it's all the parole board members ever talk about. At this point I just want to sit on the porch and toss pebbles at the kids stealing watermelons from the garden. I would probably not even see the first one or two they took.
